Meet Our Team
Tyson Fellman
Director After getting a degree from Central Washington University in Economics, I joined the family business since I really missed being around the children. My wife and I have two children and we started a childcare center in Pasco named Rainbow River in 2016. I am proud of the positive environments that the staff at Beyond the Rainbow and Rainbow River have created. It has been a joy working with children all these years and I look forward to the future, since we are always learning and improving. |

Program Supervisor I have always had a passion for working with children and have been in childcare since the age of 18. It is an amazing feeling to see when the light bulb turns on when you have taught a child something new. I have been working with Beyond the Rainbow since 2012. We have an amazing team who share my passion/goals in working with children. We strive to prepare the children for their next level of achievements. |

Office Supervisor I love working with children watching them grow and thrive. BTR is an amazing place for your child. Not only is it a childcare, but a wonderful learning center that I am happy to work in. My goal is to develop a relationship with the children and their families. My hope is to make everyone that joins our childcare center feel like family and I hope this center makes them feel comfortable and safe. I want to make your child's time with us educational, exciting, fun, and memorable. |

Closing Supervisor I'm a 23-year-old married, mother of 2. I am the oldest of 8 children and have watched over my siblings from a young age. I started working at BTR in the summer of 2021 as the lead teacher for the school age class. I instantly loved it!! I love to be able to work with children, interact with them and be a small part of their learning experience as they grow. My goal at BTR is to make sure the children are happy, healthy and of course well taken care of. I hope to make BTR feel like a second home for the children and for them to have a fun memorable time that they will never forget. |

Morning Assistant Teacher School Age 2 (3rd grade-7th grade) I have been with children since I was 10 yrs. old. I helped my parents with my siblings because they worked on our farm. I have raised 5 children of my own and am very much involved with my 9 grandchildren. While I raised my children, I had a home childcare of my own for about 5 years. I then worked for YMCA in a town called Tieton, with the Pre-K and preschool program as a director and teacher. I have been working at Beyond the Rainbow for 30 + years. I enjoy watching the children grow and learn together with the staff at BTR. |
Kaia Blasdel
Lead Teacher Preschool 3 (3.5 to 4 years old) I have been with Beyond the Rainbow for about a year and a half, I have loved every moment of it. I love getting to know the children who are in my classroom as well as other enrolled children. I love helping them learn and get them ready for PreK. I love knowing the fact that I can impact their lives by getting them ready to move on to the next chapter of their lives. I am a mother of 1, and I love being in the preschool 3 classroom as it gives me experience as I am learning for the future of my child and the future of the future children who will be in my classroom. |

It is always exciting to learn from them as well as them learning from me. The children motivate me to be better each day and smile every day. Stephany Rodriguez
Lead Teacher Waddlers 1 (1 to 1.5 years old) I only have one sister and I am the youngest of the two. I always wanted to have younger siblings to take care of them, since I have always loved children. I feel that they're an important part of the future. Children are vulnerable and need us to care and treat them with love. Being able to be part of their personal and intellectual development is a privilege. |

Floating Staff I have been working with children for a long time since I have many cousins that I would help take care of. I also have 3 nieces and 2 nephews. My passion for working with children started at a young age since I was always surrounded by them. I got to see their first steps, first words, and overall watching them grow and seeing their personality flourish! Being able to witness this is when I realized that working with children is a great fit for me. Being in this field always allows for the most random and fun experiences which makes my life a lot more interesting. Time may fly by and can be chaotic at times however, it is rewarding to be able to help a child through their bad days and see the precious smile on their face when help them. |
Bernadette Hernandez
Floating Staff My husband and I are proud parents of 2 awesome children. Our son DJ is a senior and our daughter Tiffany is a sophomore. I have been with Beyond the Rainbow since April 2022. However, I have spent 20+ years volunteering in school classrooms, Boy Scouts of America, The Responding to Autism Center (my son has high functioning Autism). I've also worked in a religious education setting at St. Patricks' and St. Joseph's Catholic churches. My greatest joys are children and animals. When working with children some of the things I love is being able to celebrate the smallest achievements with them such as putting their shoes on, putting a toy away etc. Also, seeing them grow and learning brings a smile to my face even on my hardest days. |
